Ingredients:
- 500g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup warm water
Instructions:
- Mix the flour, salt, and sugar together in a large mixing bowl.
- Add in the vegetable oil and mix well until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- Slowly add warm water and knead the mixture until it forms a smooth dough.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small balls and flatten them with a rolling pin.
- Heat up a pan and lightly oil it.
- Cook each flattened dough on the pan for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Congratulations, you've made a delicious batch of roti canai! Serve them up hot with your favourite curry or dipping sauce.
